Rupam is a national awardee young scientist and inventor of the Beat The Heat Cooling Jacket (patented in 2017 when he was 16) and The Cooling Apron! His expertise is mainly in mechatronics, electronics, sustainability, fuzzy logic, architecture, and heat transfer. He's a member of the New York Academy of Science, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), the British Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), and the British Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
Rupam is currently a visiting research student at Mechanical Engineering Dept, IIT Kharagpur, an Ambassador of Peace of India with the Global Peace Chain, an Ambassador of India to Egypt with the World Youth Forum, and the managing director/research scientist of Ghosh Inventives. He earned his Bachelors in Electronics Science from the University Of Calcutta. Some of his past accomplishments include being a Glocal Teen Hero of India, a United Technologies STEM U Scholar, and a National Orator with the Government of West Bengal.
